I wanted to use some of my dad's tools and his workshop to make something useful. I needed a serving board so she could make Summery Friday night dinners that required washing & cutting some fruit and veg, opening some cheese & crackers and decanting some hummus into pretty bowls & arranging  onto the board. Pretty dinners get eaten, so here it is!

You can cut on it if you are happy for it to get lovely and old and worn out. That's what I've done with mine. You can hang it up, or store it stacked. It looks lovely stacked with a bunch of other sized worn out boards. Don't be too precious about it, let it get better with age - just don't submerge in water. Foods like beetroot will stain but that's ok! Oil it from time to time with a food grade timber oil.
